LGH-05 Temperature and Humidity Detecting Lidar

Release time:2021-05-13 10:12:49Read times: time

Product Introduction: The temperature detection lidar operates on principles distinct from those used for atmospheric temperature at high altitudes. The Rayleigh lidar measures stratospheric temperature, suitable for detecting temperature distributions above 30 km, by analyzing atmospheric density profiles and applying algorithmic equations to derive temperature. The vibrational Raman lidar measures temperatures in the upper troposphere and stratosphere, correcting for atmospheric transmittance and normalizing radar system constants to obtain molecular density profiles. The pure rotational Raman lidar, commonly using wavelengths of 532 nm and 355 nm, is primarily for tropospheric temperature detection, relying on the intensity of N₂ or O₂ rotational Raman scattering lines, which depend on atmospheric temperature.

By detecting the interaction radiation signals between laser and various atmospheric molecules and aerosols, this lidar reverses atmospheric properties through various physical processes. Raman lidar achieves the measurement of water vapor content by detecting Raman backscattered signals from water vapor and nitrogen molecules at different altitudes, providing vertical profiles of water vapor mixing ratios.
